3M™ Advanced Particulate Filters 2200 Series are made with electrostatic media to enhance the capture of airborne particles and reduce breathing resistance. The 2200 Series is approximately 25% easier to breathe through compared with the standard 3M™ Particulate Filters 2000 Series, meaning easier breathing while you work. Easy breathing allows workers to stay comfortable on the job and may increase the useful life of the filter.
These filters are flame resistant. Plus, the wide range of applications can help reduce inventory needs.
After you've determined the contaminants and exposure levels in your work environment, help protect your employees with a properly fitted 3M™ Reusable Respirator and corresponding particulate filters. 3M™ Advanced Particulate Filters 2200 Series are NIOSH-approved as P100 filters and are designed to help filter a broad range of oil and non-oil based airborne particulate contaminants including lead, asbestos, cadmium, arsenic, and MDA when used with half and full facepieces and with certain 3M™ Scott™ full facepieces. P100 filters provide at least 99.97% filtration efficiency against solid and liquid aerosols including oils.
These filters help provide respiratory protection from particulate contaminant concentrations up to 10 times the OSHA Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) with half facepieces and 50 times the OSHA PEL with quantitatively fit tested full facepieces. Some models include nuisance level organic vapor or acid gas relief. Not for use in environments that are immediately dangerous to life or health (IDLH) or contain hazardous levels of organic vapors and/or acid gases.
